Japanese chest in two parts, made of slightly lacquered paulownia wood.

This kind of furniture was traditionally used to store the kimonos.

The paulownia is a very light wood which protects well against humidity. 

This tansu is very elegant due to its sobriety and it goes well in every kind of interior style.
